2022-2023 New Student Application Process

Applications received after the initial March 4th deadline will be processed in the order received as openings become available.

STEPS TO ENROLLMENT

1 - Review the Application Dates and Deadlines

The initial application period was February 1st through March 4th. 

All of these applications have been processed and offers for enrollment finalized. 

We still have openings in the following grade levels:

Grade 3

Grade 4

Grade 7

Grade 10

Grade 11

Grade 12

We are accepting applicants to the waiting list for grades 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th. 

Applications are processed in the order received.

4 - Ask a Current Teacher to Submit a Teacher Survey Form

All applicants must also have one of their current teachers (or for home school students, a non-relative adult who is a coach, instructor, Sunday School teacher, youth group leader, or scout leader, etc. ) fill out a Teacher Survey form. You can forward the form to them by directing them to this page to access the appropriate form or this link.

5 - Review the Assessment Information

Freshman Applicants are required to take a math placement test. For verification of your current math, you must email a copy of your 8th-grade report card to the registrar at camregistrar@battlegroundps.org by the application deadline. See the Dates and Deadlines section for the testing date. You will receive an email reminder a few days prior to the testing session.
Sophomore, Junior, and Senior applicants must submit a copy of their transcript (an unofficial copy is fine) and current class schedule to the registrar at camregistrar@battlegroundps.org by the application deadline. Class placement will be determined based on the credits already earned and the remaining graduation requirements needed.

6 - Notification of Acceptance for Enrollment

You will receive an email notifying you of your acceptance for enrollment status by the notification deadline date listed in the Dates and Deadlines section.
Approved applicants will be at or near grade level. Students who demonstrate grade-level readiness through the assessment process will be offered a seat based on state law and Battle Ground School District Board Policy. When seats are filled, approved students will be placed on a waiting list. Applications are time-stamped when received and enrollment offers during the initial application period are made in order according to the following School Board Enrollment Priority Policy.
  1. Children of full-time Battle Ground School Employees
  2. BGPS resident student with a sibling currently enrolled in CAM Academy
  3. BGPS resident student with no sibling currently enrolled in CAM Academy
  4. Out-of-District student with a sibling currently enrolled in CAM Academy
  5. Out-of-District student with no sibling currently enrolled in CAM Academy
Applications received after the initial application deadline date will be processed in the order received.
