All FAMILIES..... Deadline OCT 8th
The deadline is coming fast for the Free and Reduced applications to be filled out. This year we did not qualify for everyone to get free lunches. We are hoping to get more families to fill out the form. Even if you don't think you qualify, or even if you do and don't think you need to fill it out. Please do fill this out; you never know what you qualify for. This does not only helps with lunch, but if you fill out the consent to share form, when you do qualify, you can get reduced fees for field trips and tests. Please fill out BOTH forms below.

Eighth grade and high school students have opportunities to take standardized tests for graduation, college, the military and scholarships. Some of the upcoming tests include:

PSAT 8/9 testing on Oct. 18 (register by Oct. 3)

HS ASB elections are right around the corner! ASB offers excellent leadership and team-building opportunities to help create a better school. Submit your application form to Mr. E. Albers in RM 203 or the office by Tuesday, September 23rd. Speeches will be on Friday, September 26th. We are looking for 2 Freshman representatives and one Senior representative to join the team!

CTA Announcement - Important update for CTA:
Seniors will be completed with CTA once they graduate.
Juniors will need to follow the Evergreen calendar for their CTA program. This means that it may extend past the last day at CAM.

October 17th - Family Game Night and Scholastic Bookfair Grand Opening! From 6-8pm at CAM. This is a FREE event for the whole family. Come enjoy an evening of games, delicious soft serve ice-cream, popcorn/snacks, prizes and more. You can also shop at our Scholastic Bookfair!
October 17th-24th - Scholastic Bookfair will be open for shopping from 1-3pm every day except Wednesday.
Since the last week of October are early release, the October student store will be the first Tuesday in November.

New screen time limits on school-issued Chromebooks
In response to parent feedback and to support healthy screen use habits, Battle Ground Public Schools is implementing new screen time limits for school-issued Chromebooks. During the following hours, students in these grades will not be able to log into their Chromebook:
Primary school students (kindergarten through fourth grades): 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Middle school students (grades 5–8): 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Outside of the restricted hours, students will still be able to log into and use their Chromebooks. These restrictions do not apply to high school students and students who attend school at alternative learning environments due to the complexities of student schedules and independent learning needs. Battle Ground students already benefit from internet filtering technology that blocks inappropriate web content on all school-owned devices. Now, we are going one step further and granting every Battle Ground parent/guardian a free Qustodio parental app account. Qustodio will give you important insights into your child’s online activity on their school-issued device and provide you with features for managing their online activity at home.
