Congratulations to CAM Academy! CAM has been named a platinum-level AP school, earning the highest level of recognition on the College Board's AP School Honor Roll. Out of 5,723 schools honored nationally this year, only 8% received platinum status. In Washington state, only 7% of qualifying schools reached the platinum tier. Although CAM Academy is not new to the AP School Honor Roll, CAM did move up to the highest tier this year.
The honor roll recognizes schools across four levels based on research-backed criteria tied to college readiness. To qualify, schools must demonstrate that:
At least 40% of graduating students take an AP exam
At least 25% earn a score of 3 or higher on an AP exam
Students are supported in taking multiple AP courses over time, including early access in 9th or 10th grade
The recognition underscores CAM Academy’s commitment to preparing students for success beyond high school by providing access to challenging coursework, college credit opportunities and skills that support future academic and career pathways.
The AP Program, administered by the College Board, enables students to engage in college-level learning during high school, earning potential college credit and developing skills for future success.
Congratulations, CAM Academy!
