Food

ASB Middle School Sponsored Food Drive

We are excited to announce our upcoming Food Drive to benefit families in need within our school district! This is a great opportunity for our school community to come together and make a positive impact. 

Key Details:

  • Date: December 6th - 17th

  • Items Needed: Non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, rice, etc.)

  • Boxes will be given to each teacher, please place items in your homeroom teacher's box.

  • Incentives:

    • The highest earners from grades 5-8 will earn points for their overall Spirit Week score. A prize will be awarded at the Middle School Spirit Assembly on December 20th

    • The 3rd and 4th-grade homeroom that brings in the most food items will also receive a special prize!

    • Finally, the High School Advisory class that brings in the most food items will receive a special prize!

Let's show our school spirit and compassion by supporting our community. Every can counts!

Holiday Grams

The Interact club is selling Holiday grams starting Dec 5th through the 17th before and after school. They will be sold for $1.00. Holiday grams will be handed out during 6th period Friday, December 20th. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

Christian Students United will have guest speaker Bob Macgregor at its next meeting on Dec. 17 from 2 - 3 p.m. in Room 201. His childhood was pretty awful, but he carries a message of hope, healing, and encouragement. All middle school and high school students are invited to attend. Snacks will be provided at the end of the meeting.

The Christian Student United Clubs at CAM, Prairie, Battle Ground, Hockinson, and River HomeLink are joining together for a night of worship and Christmas carols, Dec. 12 from 7 - 9 p.m. Grab some friends and join together in the Prairie High School library. There will be a worship band, cookies, hot chocolate, and maybe even a couple of prize giveaways. All middle school and high school students are invited! Come celebrate the season!

WINTER FORMAL

Get ready for an unforgettable evening at this year’s Winter Formal, Snowy Cedars! The dance will be held on Saturday, January 18th from 7-10 pm at the Cedars Public House. The dress code is semi-formal/formal, and there will be light snacks and music led by a DJ! Tickets are $20.00 and are due Friday, January 17 by 2:30 No Exceptions.  Permission slips can be found here in the Dailies or in the Office. You are allowed to bring one guest who also needs a ticket and a permission form. See you there!!

Get help with applying for financial aid

High school seniors and families looking for help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid are invited to attend one of three upcoming in-person events:

Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024: Prairie High School, 3-6 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025: Battle Ground High School, 3-6 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025: Prairie High School, 3-6 p.m. (Interpreters available)

No RSVP is required to attend. At least three days prior to attending one of these events, parents/guardians and students must each set up an account by creating a FSA ID.  Federal student aid is money from the federal government that helps you pay for college, career school, trade school or other expenses.

Pizza Tuesday Information

The Next Pizza Tuesday will be the 17th of December and we will need help to make it happen! 10 volunteers each week to be exact.

On Pizza Tuesday, we will have punch cards for sale- $12 Pizza Cards, $8 Izze Cards, or both for $20.

Cash or checks (made out to CAP) are accepted.

Individual Pricing:

(Cheese, Pepperoni, Sausage, Hawaiian, Bread Sticks)
Pizza Slice/Bread Sticks- $1.50
2 Breadsticks w/ sauce- $1.50

Safety Study Hall
Visit the Safety Study Hall website, a place for schools, students, and families to learn about safety topics.

Technology

BGPS uses GoGuardian to keep students safe online on their school-issued devices. Parents/guardians can use the GoGuardian Parent app to help monitor activity when their child is using their school-issued device at home outside of school hours. This application has features like web filtering and parental controls such as pausing internet access and setting up online hours. Learn more and find other resources for going online.

Please report bullying, intimidation, harassment, threats and safety concerns using our
