What you need to know for fall
First day of school: Tuesday, Aug. 26
Confirm that your child meets Washington state immunization requirements by the first day of school or has a certificate of exemption.
Supply lists will be posted on the district website by the end of July. Due to the double levy failure, the district will no longer be able to provide free school supplies for primary grade levels.
Students who need support with school supplies will be able to receive a free backpack with limited supplies, thanks to the generosity of our community through the Battle Ground Education Foundation and the Family and Community Resource Center. Backpacks will be available at school offices prior to the start of the school year.
Students whose families do not have a stable living environment may be eligible to receive McKinney-Vento services, including continued attendance at their current school, full participation in school-related activities, transportation to and from school, free school meals, and academic support. Complete a housing questionnaire in Skyward - Family Access or contact your child’s school or the Family and Community Resource Center.
Many high school sports have summer training programs open to incoming students. More information is available from each high school's Associated Student Body office at Prairie High School and Battle Ground High School.
